Our creative teams consist of expert textile designers with deep professional experience in fashion, weaving and print. It is thanks to their skills and efforts that Christian Fischbacher fabrics regularly appear in notable trend-books and win prestigious textile awards, such as the Materialica Design and Technology Award.

Since 2008, Christian Fischbacher AG, has been led by CEO Michael Fischbacher. Michael earned his degree from Oxford University along with an MBA from UCLA, speaks six languages (including Japanese and Mandarin), has lived in Asia, the U.S. and Europe, and has a keen understanding of global markets.

Christian Fischbacher’s designers work under the direction of Art Director Camilla Fischbacher who brings a global perspective to her role, and guides her team to create fabrics that meet the needs of a demanding clientele. She travels around the world regularly to introduce new product lines, meet with clients and suppliers, and gain inspiration for designs yet to be created.

Camilla has a Masters Degree from Oxford University and has lived in Iran, the U.S., England, Japan and, of course, Switzerland.

Michael and Camilla met at Oxford in 1990, married in 1995 and have three children.

Our Collections

The essentials of the CHRISTIAN FISCHBACHER BED LINEN COLLECTION are pure cotton, linen, silk and our elegant printed-cotton satins and jerseys with matching solids. Only the finest cotton is used for our bed linens, which are sewn to measure per each customer’s individual specifications.

Our BATH COLLECTION includes luxurious oversized towels, bathmats and robes in a broad range of colours. We weave the highest-quality long-filament cotton yarn in an almost untwisted state, which gives our towels their ultra-high absorbency and plush feel.

Our HOME COLLECTION features a huge selection of luxurious sheers, drapery and upholstery fabrics, mainly in silk, cotton and linen, but also in flame-retardant Trevira CS yarns. Seven companies with showrooms in Europe, the United States and Japan ensure that our clients receive seamless service and fast delivery.

Our Carpets Collection is our latest addition to the Home Collection. Our hand-crafted carpets are made of only the best Merino wool, worked into an extremely high-quality, dense and sometimes sculpted pile. All our carpets are certified ‘Free from Child Labour’ and are ‘Green Label Plus’, guaranteeing the highest level of social responsibility and environmental standards. The Carpets Collection is available in a wide range of designs and colours that perfectly complement our furnishing fabrics.
